Tell us a little about yourself: Five years ago I opened a dog grooming salon in Libertyville. I have been grooming dogs for almost 9 years. I enjoy it so much it doesn’t even feel like work! Being able to meet so many new dogs and getting to know them is such a rewarding experience! I started photography after I got my first car. It has become a passion of mine to take pictures of my cars whenever I see a spot that looks interesting to me. I have also recently been accepted to be a Subaru Ambassador. I am so excited to share the love of Subaru.

How did you get into cars? I got into cars when I was younger and my dad got a 1969 Mustang. I always watched him work on his Mustang, and I absolutely loved hanging out in the garage with him and my brother. I knew I wanted a car that I could work on and that was also fast!

What is your dream car? I have two dream cars, a 1970 SS Chevelle, and a Skyline.

What are your future plans for the car, and what do you like to do with it? Right now I am very happy with the way my car is. I have spent a LOT of time figuring out how I wanted the car to sound and look. I am very happy with it. But I would like to get it fully repainted one day and install my rear diffuser.

What is your favorite thing about your car? My favorite thing about my car is the deep rumble it makes. It gives me such an escape while driving.

What is something that you don't like about your car?  I have a hard time coming across something that I don’t like about my car. I love it too much! Maybe that I don’t have two STi's!

What was your inspiration or objective with this build? My inspiration was my dad’s mustang. I love the way he has built it exactly how he wants it. I learned so much through out the years and it really helped me with building mine. I wanted it to have a certain look and sound. The wheels were the hardest to figure out. Literally spent YEARS trying to find the right ones.

Why did you choose Subaru? Well back in 2010 I was deciding between the Mitsubishi EVO and the WRX. I wanted a fast car that would beat my dads car at the drag strip! I found a lot of Subarus for sale, and just fell in love with them. A friend of mine’s neighbor was selling his 05 STi and the moment I saw the car I knew it was the one. It truly was love at first sight.

What was your first car? My first car was a 1991 Toyota Celica GTS. I learned how to do so much on that car. Till this day I still regret selling it, and I do miss it.

What makes your car special to you? My car is special to me because its exactly how I want it to be. It is more like artwork and designing it for myself.

What is something about you (or car) that no one else knows? My back license plate that says “I love driving slow” was bought to be sarcastic. But honestly I do enjoy just cruising in the car most of the time.

Any memorable moments with your car that you would like to share? I have a lot of pink in my engine bay and whenever I open the hood people will jump back and say “Woah thats a lot of pink!!” I just love the expressions on their faces!

What is your car like to drive? It’s so enjoyable! I love the way it grips the road, and the deep rumble it has. Just roll down the windows no matter what the weather is and listen to its sound.

Any shout-outs to anyone who helped you along the way? I would like to give a big shout out to Noah Gorajski. He helped me with so much on my STi. He really taught me a lot about the car. I want to also give a big shout out to Sammy So and 6 Star! He really went above and beyond to help me when my head gaskets went out. They have made my car running the best it ever has. They took great care of my car. I couldn’t thank them enough.
